The evolution of computing and communication
technologies and the World Wide Web have made multimedia database an important
research area. Our work also includes content-based
video indexing by integrating speech and image analysis. Our proposed
system minimizes computation cost and maximizes detection accuracy of events of
interest.
This is one of the very first works
that combine speech and image analysis for content-based video indexing. It is widely referenced.
