Mini Conference Photos | Mini Conference Posters

Thanks to the support of our Chair, Dr. Robert Tzou, and all the other professors of the CS department, our CSGSC Mini-Conference is going to have a poster contest.

As an incentive the Department will provide three poster awards if there are at least 15 poster submissions. A faculty committee will judge the contest. Each winner will receive a prize and a signed award certificate, with first prize of $150, second prize of $100, third prize of $50. We will have the poster award ceremony in September, 2005.

Author's responsibility: All the posters will be displayed throughout the conference. During that time, you will have to be at your poster to answer questions from the faculty and students.

Pizza and soda will be provided. All CS graduate students are welcomed with or without poster submissions.

Poster submission guidelines:
(1) Papers will be treated as posters. For those of you who have submitted your papers, you may resubmit a poster if you want to change the format.
(2) Objectives and conclusions should be clearly stated.
(3) Recommended size: no larger than 30 x 40 inches
(4) Maximum number of posters for the same first author: 2
(5) Deadline for submitting the soft copy: 05/01/2005
