Biography
Yi Shang is a professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Missouri—Columbia who has published more than 80 technical papers in international journals and conferences and has six U.S. patents. Shang worked as a researcher for the University of Illinois and the Palo Alto Research Center before coming to Missouri. He has received research funding from the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, Microsoft, Raytheon Co. and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
