Biography

Jianlin Cheng is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Missouri-Columbia. His research focuses on developing and applying statistical machine learning techniques to address the problems in molecular biology. Currently his group is developing computational algorithms and tools for the prediction of protein structure, protein function, and protein interaction. The research is sponsored by the University of Missouri.
