Overview: Basic tools, methods and procedures to design combinational and sequential digital circuits and systems, including number systems, boolean algebra, logic minimization, adder design, memory elements, and finite state machine design

Prerequisites: CS 203
Topics: 1. Number systems and binary arithmetic (1weeks) 2. Boolean algebra, SOP/POS forms (2 weeks) 3. Logic minimization/K maps (2 weeks) 4. Timing analysis (1 weeks) 5. PLAs, multiplexors, decoders, encoders, tristate logic (2 weeks) 6. Adder design (1 weeks) 7. Sequential logic design/Latches/Flip Flops (2 weeks) 8. Register/Counter Design (2 weeks) 9. Moore/Mealy finite state machine design (2 weeks)
